Robla is coached strength training by appointment. If the page that gets you there is hard work, the training behind it does not matter. We build this site to be usable by people with disabilities, and hold that to a test rather than a good intention.
The standard we hold ourselves to
We build this site to WCAG 2.2 level AA - one version above the level the European harmonised standard EN 301 549 currently points at. Body text is held to 7:1 contrast, a step above that legal minimum, because our members are 40 to 60. We claim no exemption from accessibility law, and we do not intend to.
What we have actually done
This is not a list of aspirations. Each item is true of the code today.
- A skip link is the first thing a keyboard reaches on every page, and it jumps straight past the header to the content.
- Focus is always visible, as a two-pixel outline, and is never removed.
- If your device asks for less motion, every animation on this site drops to zero. Nothing here overrides that setting.
- The mobile menu and the market switcher open on focus as well as on hover, so a keyboard reaches the same menus a mouse does, without a single script.
- A disabled control - such as the inert search field on the Studios page today - is marked disabled in the code, not just greyed out on the screen, so a screen reader is told it is off rather than left to guess.
- Every image slot without a real photograph names itself in plain, visible text, rather than shipping as a blank box or standing in with a stock photograph.
- Interactive controls are sized to this site's own 44-pixel minimum touch target.
- Body text measures at least 16:1 against its background, and the lightest text still used in running copy measures 5.6:1 - both well past the WCAG AA floor of 4.5:1.
Where we stand today
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Most of it conforms, and it has not yet been audited by an independent third party.
How we assessed it: an internal review against the checks above, last carried out 23 August 2026. We are not currently aware of an unresolved barrier on this site. That is a statement about what we have tested, not a claim of perfection, and it is exactly why the address below matters.
Getting into a studio
No Robla studio is open yet, so there is nothing yet to say about a room, a door or a lift. Once a studio opens, its own page will carry that studio's own access information - step-free access, door widths and the rest differ by building, and a Robla studio is never in a building we own.

If we do not put it right
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the market surveillance authority for the accessibility of products and services in your country. In Germany that is the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen. In Estonia it is the authority named under the Estonian implementation of the European Accessibility Act.
